A mistaken assumption on my part … I was trying to remember what you had written in earlier posts.

Been there … done that.

The annoying thing, in my case, was that the guy blowing me refused to give up ….. even after I had made it clear that, in this instance, there was zero chance of me responding.

Actually, the relationship never really got sexual. “Worst” that ever happened was that he gave me a blow-job, but I didn’t get an erection, so it doesn’t really count since nothing happened

The moment you have sex with someone it forever changes the nature of that relationship.

My experience is that it’s better not to start a sexual relationship if you have doubts about it – especially if a friendship is involved.

Otherwise, breaking up rarely goes smoothly. Even if you’ve made it clear beforehand – as you did – that you were uncertain of your sexuality.

Good title, bad interpretation. The nothing was your ex, not you, and she deserves nothing from you. Hilary, I know it must have felt devastating, but I’ve read your blog too, and I know you’re something. I’m sure you looked *really* something for Halloween, and you deserve…the best.

So sorry to read about you being stood up on Halloween. I don’t know you, but from following your blog for a while I know something about the “you” you’ve decided to share with strangers. Getting stood up when you’ve put a lot of time into getting ready is like a punch in the gut. It hurts and righty so. Maybe your exgirl friend should become your ex friend..period.

you have a lot of hidden strength- just believe in yourself. your life journey has proved to be very difficult but you can do it! i read your blog religiously and find strength in your words. it may seem bleak, but you can do it. if you’re unhappy, go and reinvent yourself. you got this, now trust yourself.
